Today is a Monday and I am cozied up in my dad’s home with him and my sister. With our Christmas tree still up and our decorations still showing, a storm is blowing right through, postponing my trip back home to Fayetteville. I love rainy days. But I only love them when I can spend all day at home. I’m stuck now but that’s okay.
Flashing back to Wednesday…
I spent a bunch of days last week window shopping and Wednesday I bought one shirt at Forever 21 for only a dollar! How did I do that? The Forever 21 Credit Card. I had a $10 reward and used it on a shirt that was $10.90. I literally found this shirt in the dressing room while my friends were trying stuff on. It was soft, jersey type, see through, just my size, and long. SO RAD!! I tried it on over my crop shirt and thought, “What the heck, looks great with this outfit,” and I got it. It was a dollar.
Friend/sister Maddie and me in Buckle
JILL and me. Also like a sister. We shared Chick-fil-A fries
My beautiful sister Anna with Mom’s sunglasses on. (They are from a flea market)
I fell in love with this jacket at Forever 21! I want it so badly but I am trying not to spend much money at all because I am saving up for a mission trip in the summer. So I took a picture for a later date if I still really want it.
So HERE is the shirt I bought at Forever 21 for only a dollar. Underneath the shirt is a blue crop from Forever 21 that says “wild & wonderful”
My jeans are from Old Navy, shoes are brand new Nikes I got for Christmas, the suede NY cap is from Boohoo, the sparkly choker is from Forever 21.
Jill and me had a photoshoot. SHE’S SO CUTE AND STYLISH. Her shirt is from Maddie’s closet (her sister), new bling from Claire’s (the store), and Converse from Santa.
And of course I took a picture with Maddie.
I had a fun day at the mall and have had a fun week of rest in Louisiana. I am ready to be home but I don’t ever want to rush anything! I truly try to enjoy every moment because I believe you can find purpose in everything. It is great seeing my forever friends and my family. I love them so much and wish I could be better at long distance relationships! I love being present where I am though.
Well I hope you all had a very happy New Year and wonderful holiday time! You made it to 2017! It’s a new year. I love new things. Really it’s just another day to me, though. I am still me and the best is still yet to come!
